This is the season of accountability, the period of our life we were trained for throughout
our teenage years. The clarion call has gone out to all the young adults of Celestial Church of
Christ in their late teens, twenties and thirties, both single and married, we seek to promote a
young adult perspective within the church and to facilitate some sort of collaboration between
the adult and young members of the church.
We have a vision of the church as a place where young adults are at home; where our gifts
are acknowledged and our dreams are supported and nourished; where young adults are
prepared for future leadership in worship, evangelism and the running of the church.
In the last few years, the church has lost a lot of its bright and upcoming members to other
denominations especially in the United States because of the lack of unity between the various
parishes and baseless squabbles
This is a new dawn though, and we hope that the young adults still around have a bigger
involvement in the work of the ministry and the folks who left give the Church another
chance. Your talents, enthusiasm, ideas are needed to enrich the church and your abilities and
ideals will serve as a vessel for God to secure the future of the church.
